Youth Programs
Adolescent Residential Treatment & Youth Home
Stewards of Children, the youth residential program at Stewards of Recovery, provides a structured, nurturing environment for adolescents aged 12-17 dealing with substance abuse and mental health challenges. Certified by the state of Idaho as a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP), Stewards of Children offers both a 3.5 and 3.1 level ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) residential treatment program and a CPS youth home program. Our homes are segregated by gender, ensuring a safe and supportive space tailored to the unique needs of boys and girls.
A key benefit of our program is that all youth, whether in residential program or the youth home, have access to comprehensive clinical counseling and care through our outpatient clinical services. This integrated approach combines therapeutic support with evidence-based practices, addressing both mental health and substance abuse issues. With a focus on skill development, emotional regulation, and recovery, Stewards of Children empowers youth to build a strong foundation for long-term well-being and success.
Youth Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
Stewards of Children’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers intensive, structured treatment for adolescents who need more support than traditional outpatient care but do not require residential treatment. Our PHP is designed for youth facing significant substance abuse or mental health challenges, providing a full day of therapeutic services while allowing them to return home in the evenings.
Youth Outpatient
The Youth Outpatient Program at Stewards of Children provides flexible, effective treatment for adolescents facing substance abuse and mental health challenges. This program is designed for youth who do not require residential or partial hospitalization care but still need consistent therapeutic support to maintain their recovery and emotional well-being. Through weekly individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling sessions, we help young people build the tools they need to navigate life's challenges in a healthy and productive way.
Our outpatient program uses evidence-based practices to address both mental health and addiction issues. Youth in this program also have access to the same high-quality clinical counseling offered to those in our higher levels of care, ensuring continuity of treatment as they progress in their recovery. With a focus on fostering independence, emotional resilience, and long-term success, Stewards of Children’s outpatient services provide the guidance and support adolescents need while balancing their everyday life.
