Mission Statement 


Stewards of Recovery LLC, is a counseling, mentoring, and education company that seeks to empower the mind and heart of every individual to become stewards of their recovery. As a recovery community, Stewards of Recovery strives to free people from addiction through processing the causes of their addictions, healing families, and strengthening the community 




MEET THE TEAM

Janna Kulow

Director

Janna Kulow was born and raised in Southern California. She moved to Utah when she was 18 and spent many years there until moving to Southeastern Idaho with her three beautiful kids. She was a surrogate mom to two beautiful twin girls for a wonderful family in New Jersey. It was an experience that she will never forget. She became a juvenile probation officer and learned many skills and techniques on how to deal with difficult situations. Now she has come to the treatment side to help offenders navigate through lifes difficult situations. She continues her journey through life on a path of service and helping others as much as she can. She understands life and is more than willing to help where she can.

Steve Orme, LCSW

Clinical Director

Steven Orme was born and raised in Rexburg, Idaho. He attended Brigham Young University-Idaho, receiving a bachelor’s degree in social work. He continued his education at Walla Walla University, graduating with his Masters of Social Work degree and later becaming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Through his 15 years in the social work field, Steven has worked in juvenile corrections, child protection, adult mental health, and as a counselor specializing in addicitions. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking and spending time with his family in the outdoors.

Kelly Figg, LCSW

Clinician

Completed her Bachelor’s degree at Idaho State University and her Masters degree at Northwest Nazarene University in Social Work. She has worked as a therapist, supervisor, and clinical director for different treatment programs, and thoroughly enjoys the process of watching individuals and families heal and grow. She has diverse clinical experience in both presenting problems and settings. She has worked with both adults and adolescents with mood and anxiety disorders, substance abuse problems, eating disorders and trauma. She has specific clinical training and expertise in eating disorders, and EMDRIA approved EMDR. She is currently working toward EMDR certification. She has worked in residential settings, hospitals, and community mental health. In her down time, Kelley enjoys spending time with her family and friends often in nature with her camera in tow.

AJ Martin

Administrative Director

AJ was born and raised in Rigby, Idaho. He worked in a family owned business since he was 8 years old. After graduating high school he worked for Anderson Lumber. AJ was interested in law enforcement and started in juvenile probation in Bonneville County where he served 13 years doing that. AJ learned many skills working with problem solving court and sex offender management. AJ moved over to the treatment side in 2016, where he now works as the housing coordinator and recovery coach. His newest addition to his work is handling a drug detection k9.

Randy Parker, LSW, CADC

Clinician

Randy graduated from Idaho State University in May 2015 with a bachelor's degree in social work. Randy worked with the Seventh Judicial District Drug Courts for a year and a half while completing his bachelor’s degree. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in social work, and recently completed his Certified Alcohol and Drug Counseling Certificate.

Randy’s therapeutic approach is client-centered treatment approach with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He truly believes in the client-therapist relationship is one of the most important part of the therapeutic process.

We all have it within ourselves to make the changes that we need to have life worth living. Randy believes that his role as a Substance Use Counselor is to come along side individuals to support and to help them find the inertia strength they need to have a life worth living.
